Intergraph is a global leader in industry-specific engineering and geospatial software. In its ongoing efforts to market the benefits of its “smart city” applications in the industries of security, government and infrastructure, the Toronto head office hired us to produce three client testimonial videos. The videos were styled as a vignette series rather than individual testimonials. This was beneficial to the central story Intergraph wanted to tell: a city gains efficiency and effectiveness when all the emergency service providers use the same Intergraph software.
This video focuses on Alberta Health Services (AHS) and includes a testimonial from Jim Garland, AHS Executive Director. Film day was really neat! We filmed in a call centre for the province’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and heard the operators taking real 911 calls. Then we visited an EMS garage and had two paramedics stage an emergency response for us. Everyone we encountered was so professional and friendly and made our job really easy.
Traditional testimonial videos can be a bit of a bore (talking heads make us yawn); however, we became really excited about this project when Intergraph told us they specifically hired us so we could add our own artistic flare. We wanted to capture people’s attention as soon as the video opens, and we think we accomplished that with the powerful soundtrack and interesting imagery.
